About
Background
I'm Walter Lynch — a New York City digital designer and production artist with more than twenty years inside national advertising studios on Madison Avenue and around Manhattan. I work mostly in identity: marks, wordmarks, and the systems that hold them together, plus the digital and print production that gets them out the door correctly.
The work starts on paper or in Photoshop and ends as clean vector geometry, because a logo that isn't built properly falls apart the first time someone scales it. On the production side I've run large-format and digital press workflows, color management and prepress for high-volume campaigns.
Lately a good chunk of my concepting runs through AI — a fast way to explore twenty directions before lunch. But nothing ships straight out of a generator. Whatever gets picked, I rebuild by hand so the curves, spacing and weights are actually right.
